James Davies is a British author and illustrator known for his work in children’s non-fiction. He studied illustration at the University of the West of England. Davies has written and illustrated several books for children, focusing on history and factual topics.
His published works include the Meet the… series, which introduces young readers to historical figures and periods. Titles in this series include Meet the Ancient Romans, Meet the Ancient Egyptians, Meet the Ancient Greeks, and Meet the Pirates. Davies is also the author and illustrator of Long Lost Secret Diary of the World’s Worst… series, published by Scholastic.
