George Walter is a British author and editor. He has compiled and edited anthologies and editions of literary classics for children and general readers.
His works include edited collections such as Stories of Sherlock Holmes (2004) and Charles Dickens’ Christmas Stories (2006), published by Penguin Classics. Walter has also edited volumes of war poetry and short stories for Oxford University Press and other publishers, making canonical literature accessible to younger audiences.
His edition of Stories of Sherlock Holmes was published by Penguin Classics in 2004.
