Recommended reading books for primary & secondary aged children in the UK
Francis Martin is a British author and illustrator of children’s books. He studied at Cambridge School of Art, completing an MA in children’s book illustration.
His debut picture book, Daddy Hairdo (2017), illustrated by Claire Powell, tells the story of a girl whose father invents increasingly elaborate hairstyles. Martin has also worked on educational and illustrated projects for young readers.
Daddy Hairdo was published by Simon & Schuster in 2017.
