Erin A. Craig biography

Erin A. Craig is an American author known for her work in young adult fiction. She studied theatre production and design at university before turning her focus to writing. Craig’s debut novel, House of Salt and Sorrows, was published by Delacorte Press in 2019. The book is a dark retelling inspired by the fairy tale “The Twelve Dancing Princesses.”

Following her debut, Craig continued to write within the young adult fantasy and gothic genres. Her second novel, Small Favors, was published by Delacorte Press in 2021. This work explores themes of isolation and suspicion in a small community setting. Craig’s writing often features atmospheric settings and elements of folklore and mystery.

In 2023, Craig published House of Roots and Ruin, a companion novel to her debut, also with Delacorte Press. This book returns to the world established in House of Salt and Sorrows, expanding on its characters and lore.
