Eric Huang is a children’s book author and publisher. He began his career at Disney Publishing, where he worked as an editor. Huang later joined Penguin Books as a Senior Editor, focusing on licensed publishing. He has contributed to the development and publication of numerous children’s titles, including those based on popular franchises such as Shrek, Madagascar, and Kung Fu Panda.
Huang has also held the position of Development Director at Made in Me, a digital agency specialising in children’s media. In this role, he worked on interactive storytelling projects and digital publishing initiatives. He has written and co-authored several children’s books, including tie-ins for well-known brands and original works.
In addition to his publishing work, Huang has served as a judge for children’s book awards and has spoken at industry conferences. He has contributed to the development of transmedia storytelling in children’s literature. His career includes collaborations with major publishers and media companies, and he has played a role in shaping licensed and digital children’s publishing in the UK.
Eric Huang’s published works include titles for franchises such as Peppa Pig and Thomas & Friends. He continues to work in children’s publishing and media development.
