Eloise White is a children’s picture-book author. Her book We’re Off To Find a Fairy, illustrated by Cory Reid, was published by Owlet Press in 2020 for children aged 3 to 5.
We’re Off To Find a Fairy follows a family searching the countryside and woodland for a fairy. During the story, the family encounters bees, butterflies, a red squirrel, a beetle and glow-worms, linking the hunt for a magical creature with endangered woodland species.
The picture book uses an ongoing rhyme across its pages and includes a mixed-race family with a child who uses a wheelchair. Other works associated with Eloise White and illustrator Cory Reid include We’re Off to Find a Unicorn and We’re Off To Meet a Mermaid.
