Recommended reading books for primary & secondary aged children in the UK
Ellie Snowden is a British illustrator of children’s books. She studied at Cardiff School of Art and Design and later completed an MA in children’s book illustration at Cambridge School of Art.
Snowden’s illustration work includes Penguin Problems (2016) by Jory John and The Everywhere Bear (2017) by Julia Donaldson. She has also illustrated Charlie Chooses (2019) by Lou Peacock and contributed artwork to anthologies and picture books published internationally.
Her work is noted for its expressive characterisation and gentle humour. The Everywhere Bear, illustrated by Snowden, was first published by Macmillan Children’s Books in 2017.
