David Gibson is a graphic designer and author, and the co-founder of the London design studio Draught Associates, established in 1997. His studio work spans publishing and visual communication.
Gibson has created books for leading imprints including Laurence King and the Architectural Association. He is also the author of Visual Aid (2010) and Visual Aid 2 (2011), two reference titles published by Black Dog Publishing that present information through clear, graphic infographics.
For younger readers, Gibson wrote and illustrated Changing World: Cold Data for a Warming Planet, a nonfiction title that explains climate science using data-led infographics. Aimed at ages 7–12, the book presents statistics and visualisations on topics such as energy use, sea-level rise, and biodiversity, and is designed to support classroom discussion and independent reading.
Changing World: Cold Data for a Warming Planet was published by Cicada Books in 2023 (ISBN 9781800660281).
