Dana Schwartz biography

Dana Jae Schwartz is an American author, journalist and screenwriter. She created and hosts the podcast Noble Blood, which explores historical stories of monarchy.

Schwartz attended Brown University, where she studied biology and public policy before choosing to pursue writing.

She first gained attention on Twitter through the parody accounts @GuyInYourMFA and @DystopianYA.

Her first novel, And We’re Off, was published in May 2017. She followed this with Choose Your Own Disaster in June 2018.

Her Gothic YA romance novel Anatomy: A Love Story was published in January 2021 and became a #1 New York Times bestseller. The sequel, Immortality: A Love Story, was published in February 2023.

In television, Schwartz served as a staff writer on the Marvel series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.
