Craig Steele is a Scottish author and computer scientist known for his work in making coding and digital skills accessible to children and young people. He has written several educational books aimed at introducing programming and technology concepts to younger audiences. Steele’s publications include Cool Scratch Projects in Easy Steps (In Easy Steps, 2017), which provides step-by-step guides for creating games and animations using the Scratch programming language. He is also the author of Cool Coding in Easy Steps (In Easy Steps, 2018), a book designed to help children understand the basics of computer coding through practical projects and clear explanations.
In addition to his books, Craig Steele has contributed to digital skills education through workshops and outreach activities. He has worked with schools, libraries, and community groups to promote STEM learning and digital literacy. Steele’s approach often focuses on demystifying technology and encouraging creativity through hands-on activities.
His book Cool Scratch Projects in Easy Steps was published by In Easy Steps in 2017.
