Colin Walsh biography

Colin Walsh is an Irish writer and editor originally from Galway. He lives in Belgium.

His debut novel, Kala, was published by Atlantic Books in July 2023. He won RTÉ’s Francis MacManus Short Story Prize in 2017. In 2019, he was named Hennessy New Irish Writer of the Year.

Walsh’s short stories have appeared in The Irish Times, The Stinging Fly and on RTÉ Radio 1 and BBC Radio 4.
