Clemency Brown is a UK children’s author. Her debut middle-grade novel, Wishbound, was acquired by Chicken House in a two-book deal, with world rights bought by editorial director Rachel Leyshon from agent Charlotte Colwill at Colwill & Peddle.

Wishbound is the first book in a new magical adventure series. Publisher and retailer listings describe a story in which Leonie, who can make wishes come true, leaves her island home and builds a new life and friendship in another world, before danger forces her to make a difficult choice.
