Christine Berrie biography

Christine Berrie is a Scottish illustrator and artist known for detailed drawings of industrial and everyday objects such as switches, gas meters and appliances. She earned a First Class Bachelor of Arts honours degree from Glasgow School of Art and later an MA from the Royal College of Art in London.

Her illustrations have been commissioned by national and international publications including The Guardian, The New York Times and Creative Review.

She developed and illustrated educational games including “Bird Bingo” and “Bug Bingo”, each featuring 64 detailed drawings of birds or insects, produced by Laurence King Publishing.

Berrie has held exhibitions of her work in galleries such as the Pentagram Gallery in London, and has shown work in exhibitions like DesignersBlock:Illustrate and the AOI Images Exhibition.

Her illustrations were included in the publication Expeditions Unpacked by Ed Stafford, where she created over 500 drawings of kit used in various exploratory journeys.
