Cathy Fisher biography

Cathy Fisher is a British illustrator known for her work in children’s literature. She has illustrated several books, collaborating with authors such as Gill Lewis. Fisher illustrated the book Swan Song, written by Gill Lewis and published by Barrington Stoke in 2021. She also illustrated A Story Like the Wind by Gill Lewis, published by Oxford University Press in 2017. Her illustrations have been recognised for their contribution to the storytelling in these works.

Fisher’s collaboration with Gill Lewis on Swan Song was shortlisted for the 2022 UKLA Book Awards in the 7-10+ category. Her work on A Story Like the Wind has been noted in publisher materials for its atmospheric and evocative style.
