Brian S. Gardner is an author of fantasy adventure novels. His debut book in the Ohlegan’s Treasure series is Ohlegan’s Treasure: Search for the Runes, published in 2024. The sequel, Ohlegan’s Treasure: The Fortress of Odom, followed in 2025.

The story of Search for the Runes involves a young man named Nall who leaves his island home to pursue legends of Ohlegan and the four runes associated with a lost continent. Along the way he meets companions, faces traps, monsters, and must solve puzzles to prevent a rival from obtaining the runes for darker purposes.

Gardner’s writing draws on his lifelong interest in fantasy and classic adventure. He takes inspiration from video games (especially Japanese role-playing games), tabletop games, and mythic storytelling.
