Beverley Young is a children’s illustrator and author who has worked on several environment-focused titles. She coordinated the WWF UK Primary Education programme. She has illustrated books such as How the Weather Works, How the World Works, and How Plants and Trees Work.
The publisher Penguin Random House lists her as illustrator for Christiane Dorion’s How the Weather Works, How the World Works, and related titles. She uses acrylic on board in her artwork and produces illustrations for children’s books, magazines and educational materials.
One of her authored works is the historical novel The Long Road into Hell, published in 2024.
