Ben Martynoga biography

Ben Martynoga is a British neuroscientist and writer. He has contributed to children’s and young adult non-fiction, focusing on science communication. Martynoga co-authored This Book is a Planetarium with Kelli Anderson, published by Chronicle Books. He wrote The DNA Book, illustrated by Emily Grossman and published by DK in 2020, which introduces young readers to genetics and DNA. In 2021, he published Dr. Christian’s Guide to Growing Up Online with Dr Christian Jessen, released by Scholastic.

Martynoga collaborated with illustrator Moose Allain on Brain Power: A Toolkit to Understand and Train Your Unique Brain, published by Walker Books in 2022. This book explores neuroscience for a younger audience. His work has been recognised for making complex scientific topics accessible to children and young adults.
