Asli Jensen is a British author from West London, of Somali and Danish descent. She holds an MA in Creative Writing from Birkbeck University and previously had work published in Stylist Magazine.
Her debut young adult novel, Love on Sight, was published in 2025 by Chicken House Books. The story is set over a London summer and follows two teenagers growing up on the same estate, drawing on the author’s experience of life in an inner-city London community.
Jensen has received recognition as the Lime New Storyteller 2023 award winner.
