Aisling Fowler is a British author of middle-grade fantasy fiction. Her debut novel, Fireborn: Twelve and the Frozen Forest, was published by HarperCollins in 2021. Fowler was born in 1985 in Surrey, England. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Before becoming a full-time writer, she worked as a support worker and nurse. During a sabbatical from nursing, Fowler dedicated time to writing and completed the first draft of Fireborn.
The success of her debut led to sequels, including Fireborn: Phoenix and the Frost Palace (2023) and Fireborn: Starling and the Cavern of Light (2024). Her work has been translated into over 20 languages. She is represented by Claire Wilson of the RCW Literary Agency.
