Key Stage Two English SATs Revision Book by CGP. Very thorough, this revision guide covers all areas of the KS2 English SAT text. Recommended for children of all abilities at home and in the classroom.
Key Stage Two English SATs Revision Book Stretch by CGP. A good revision guide to help stretch more able Y6 pupils, particularly those working above the expected standard or at greater depth. 
Key Stage Two English SATs Question Book by CGP. An excellent book full of the types of questions children can expect to see in the May end of KS2 SATs tests. Using this book will ensure children are not fazed and know what to expect.
Key Stage Two English SATs Question Book Stretch by CGP. Idea English SATs practice for children working at greater depth who are expected to achieve above 110 in standardised scores.
KS2 SATs Grammar, Punctuation & Spelling Revision Flash Cards by CGP. This resource is a great way to make revision at home for the SPAG test as quickfire and fun as it possibly could be. A very thorough pack, these cards cover everything that’s likely to come up in the test.
KS2 Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling SATs Study and Practice Book by Collins. This book combines clear easy-to-digest and parent-friendly explanations for each SPAG area with every type of short question children can expect to encounter. It’s a useful book to work through at home in the run-up to the summer term.
KS2 English SAT Buster 10-Minute Tests for Grammar, Punctuation & Spelling: Foundation by CGP Books. Perfect for short bursts of highly targeted grammar, punctuation and spelling practice. Use a section of this book each weekend and your child’s confidence will improve considerably before the KS2 test. Highly recommended.

If your school is looking for an annual SPAG scheme/textbook to follow, this is the one we recommend. Revise Key Stage 2 SATs English – Reading Comprehension – Targeted Practice by Pearson. If your child is mystified by longer comprehension texts and the different styles of questions, this is the book we recommend to improve confidence. There’s one key child-friendly topic per page, help in bite-sized chunks, and a useful progress tracker.
KS2 English Targeted Question Book by CGP. A useful book to use at school or at home to practise the wide range of text types and question styles pupils can expect to see in the KS2 comprehension test.
KS2 SATs Practice Papers 30 English Spelling Tests for Year 6 by STP Books. We recommend this book specifically for revising the spelling aspect of the KS2 SATs. If your child struggles with the sheer variety of different maths questions in the SATs test, struggles to complete certain types of questions, or finds it difficult to finish the paper in the time allowed, this guide is useful to focus on particular aspects of the paper, particular maths objectives or gaps in knowledge, this guide is excellent to help build confidence through repeated practice.
