Sue Weatherill biography

Sue Weatherill is a children’s author whose work includes curriculum-linked activity books and retellings created with Steve Weatherill. Her books are designed for primary-age readers and include practical, topic-based activities for classroom history work.

Hieroglyph It: Discover the Picture Language of Ancient Egypt, co-authored with Stephen Weatherill, was published by Barron’s Juveniles in 1995 and introduced children to Egyptian picture writing through practical materials.

Roman Activity Book, co-authored with Steve Weatherill, is a 24-page paperback for children about Roman life, with projects such as making a Roman water clock, a mosaic, a Roman costume, a Roman fort and a Roman snack.
