Sue Weatherill biography

Sue Weatherill is a children’s author whose publications include curriculum-linked activity books and retellings produced with illustrator–author Steve (Stephen) Weatherill.

Her history series titles include Roman Activity Book (B.E.S. Publishing, 2006), Egyptian Activity Book (b small publishing limited, 2006), Greek Activity Book (2006) and Vikings Activity Book (b small publishing limited, 2007). These books present step-by-step projects, timelines and maps aligned to topics commonly taught in primary classrooms.

Earlier in her bibliography is Hieroglyph It: Discover the Picture Language of Ancient Egypt (Barron’s Juveniles, 1995), co-authored with Stephen Weatherill and supplied with practical materials to introduce children to Egyptian picture writing.

Weatherill’s collected volume Crafty History Activity Book was issued as a 256-page compilation by b small publishing limited in 2014.
