Steve Webb is a British author and illustrator known for his work in children’s literature. He is the creator of the Spotted Cow series, which includes the titles Spotted Cow, Spotted Cow on the Run, and Spotted Cow Goes to the Circus, published by Andersen Press. Webb has also written and illustrated Tanka Tanka Skunk!, a picture book published by Simon & Schuster in 2003, which has been recognised for its rhythmic text and appeal to early readers.
In addition to his own books, Webb has illustrated works by other authors, including Baby Bear, Baby Bear, What Do You See? by Bill Martin Jr. and Eric Carle, for the UK edition. His illustrations are characterised by bold colours and playful imagery, designed to engage young children.
Steve Webb’s books have been translated into several languages and are available internationally. Tanka Tanka Skunk! was shortlisted for the Blue Peter Book Award in 2004. Webb continues to contribute to children’s publishing as both an author and illustrator.
