Kim Hankinson is a British illustrator, designer, and author known for her work in children’s publishing. She has illustrated and created a range of activity and non-fiction books for young readers, often focusing on interactive and creative themes. Hankinson’s work includes both solo projects and collaborations with other authors.
Among her notable titles is Draw It! Colour It! Beasts, published by Buster Books in 2017, which encourages children to engage with art and imagination through drawing and colouring activities centred on animals. She also illustrated Draw It! Colour It! Creatures (Buster Books, 2017), another activity book designed to inspire creativity in children.
In addition to her activity books, Hankinson has contributed illustrations to non-fiction titles such as My Book of Stories: Write Your Own Shakespearean Tales (British Library, 2016), written by Deborah Patterson.
