Jenny Nimmo biography

Jenny Nimmo is a children’s author whose works include fantasy and adventure novels. She wrote the Charlie Bone series, also known as Children of the Red King, which began with Midnight for Charlie Bone published by Egmont in 2002. The series includes titles such as Charlie Bone and the Time Twister (2003), Charlie Bone and the Invisible Boy (2004), Charlie Bone and the Castle of Mirrors (2005), Charlie Bone and the Hidden King (2006), Charlie Bone and the Beast (2007), Charlie Bone and the Shadow (2008), and Charlie Bone and the Red Knight (2009).

Jenny Nimmo is also the author of The Snow Spider, published in 1986. This book is the first in the Magician Trilogy, followed by Emlyn’s Moon (1987) and The Chestnut Soldier (1989). The Snow Spider was published by Methuen.

Her other works include The Stone Mouse (1993) and Griffin’s Castle (1997). Griffin’s Castle was published by Egmont.

Jenny Nimmo’s book The Snow Spider won the Tir na n-Og Award in 1987.
