Holly Webb is a British author known for her extensive catalogue of children’s books. She began her career as an editor at Scholastic Children’s Books before becoming a full-time writer. Webb published her first book in 2005. She is best known for the Animal Stories series, which includes titles such as Lost in the Snow and Alfie All Alone. Her works often feature animals and are aimed at young readers.
Webb has written several other series, including My Naughty Little Puppy, Magic Molly, Rose, and Emily Feather. The Rose series, which began with Rose in 2009, follows a young orphan with magical abilities. The Emily Feather series started with Emily Feather and the Enchanted Door in 2013.
Her books have been translated into multiple languages and are published internationally. Webb’s titles have sold millions of copies worldwide. She has published over 130 books for children.
In 2016, Holly Webb’s Maisie Hitchins series was shortlisted for the Red House Children’s Book Award. Her books are published by several major publishers, including Scholastic, Stripes Publishing, and Orchard Books.
Webb’s Animal Stories series remains a consistent presence in UK children’s fiction charts.
