Kayvion Lewis biography

Kayvion Lewis is an American author of young adult fiction. Her debut novel, Thieves’ Gambit, was published by Nancy Paulsen Books, an imprint of Penguin Random House, in September 2023. The novel is a thriller centred on a teenage girl from a family of thieves who enters a high-stakes international competition. Thieves’ Gambit has been optioned for film adaptation by Lionsgate, with production reported in 2023.

Lewis’s work has been noted for its fast-paced narrative and focus on heist themes. Thieves’ Gambit was selected as an Indie Next Pick for September/October 2023 and was included in the American Booksellers Association’s Indies Introduce list for Autumn 2023. The novel has also been translated into multiple languages.

Kayvion Lewis is represented by the literary agency BookEnds Literary. Her next novel, Gambit’s End, is scheduled for publication in 2024 by Nancy Paulsen Books.
